Theatre Research

Static Metamorphosis | Eugene Chow

Static Metamorphosis is a theatre collective that began re-imagining comic strips onto platform theatre. Comics have this amazing ability to take us on a journey through landscapes, narratives and characters all just in a box, and platform theatre has that exact same capacity on just one platform. Formed by Lecoq-trained actor Eugene Chow in 2024, the multi-faceted group of artists is a growing collective that does everything from gestural theatre to dance to sound, bringing their talents onto performance spaces to enhance the theatrical experience of their devised themes.
