Objective: To learn basic brush lettering skills and creating a brush lettering card

Do you already know basic brush lettering? Would you like to learn about the other various font style calligraphy writing? This would be an ideal workshop for parents to guide their child in learning a variety of font calligraphy styles; straight, natural, wavy, variation etc.

Using age-appropriate tools and materials to build on hand-eye coordination and crafting techniques, this course will enable the basic learner to advance their skills!

Materials provided: Participants will take home their completed work along with a set of watercolour papers, a pen brush, a full set of brushes and templates to continue their interest. Other materials such as watercolour paints, rags, containers, pencil, erasers and rulers will be used in class only.

This workshop is presented as part of The Substation’s Arts Education Programme (AEP).
