Yoga for Stress Release

(All practices can be modified during the class to suit each individual, regardless of age and no experience required)

This yoga program focuses on the usefulness of Yoga for dealing with stress related ailments such as: hypertension, diabetes, asthma, digestive disorders and back pain.

Venue: Dance Studio
Course Fees: $250 (10 Sessions)
Dates: 23 January to 10 April 2010, Saturdays
(no class on 13 February and 3 April)
Time: 10am to 11:30am
The applications of Yoga range from maintaining health, managing a condition, reducing symptoms, restoring internal balance and increasing overall vitality. With continued practice, yoga therapy students can achieve great improvements towards holistic health and complete cure.

This program is based on mind/body practices designed specifically to reduce your stress level and restore balance, hence bringing physical and emotional well-being. From Postures (Asanas) and Breathing Practices (Pranayama) to Deep Relaxation Techniques and Kriyas (cleansing of internal organs). These practices have been developed and researched by Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA) Bangalore, India.

Yoga mats will be provided.
