Lai Weijie will be sharing his experiences in exploring post-production options for film within the region, finishing possibilities and their respective pros and cons. The talk will also include a brief introduction on the basic formats available on film, distinctive looks of the two brands providing it, the benefits of shooting on film over video, as well as the basic steps and processes when shooting on the film format.
About Lai Weijie:
Lai Weijie is one of the two Singaporeans in the inaugural Graduate Film Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia. He recently went road tripping in Malaysia to explore post-production options for his film, “The Sun Rising” and visited a film lab in Philippines while attending the ASEAN-ROK Independent Cinema Project in Manila.
