The Substation / Support Us / Moving Images Sponsorship

The Substation’s Moving Images Programme was established in 1997 and was Singapore’s first year-round programme dedicated to independent and short film. Moving Images presents festivals, screenings, forums and workshops throughout the year and there are many ways in which sponsorship can be implemented, whether as a Presenting Sponsor, sponsoring an Associate Artist filmmaker, or supporting one of our many workshops and screenings.

Some of our signature Moving Images events that you can support are:

  • Experimental Film Forum: puts the spotlight back on experimental films
  • Singapore Indie Doc Fest: a showcase of some of the most gripping and resonant independent documentaries in the world today.
  • Singapore Short Film Festival: features award-winning short films from around the world
  • First Take: a popular monthly screening of new local short films and is followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
