The Substation / Support Us / Associate Artist Sponsorship

The Substation’s Associate Artist scheme is a programme focused on artist development in film, visual arts and performing arts. This scheme provides artists with rehearsal, performance or exhibition space as well as curatorial, administrative and publicity support.

Many of our Associate Artists have full time jobs in order to pay their bills and develop their artistic practice. Sourcing for funds to produce their work is a constant struggle.

Past and present Associate Artists include Royston Tan, Heman Chong, Lee Wen, Anthony Chen, Victric Thng, Daniel K, Nelson Chia, Verena Tay, Ho Tzu Nyen and Zulkifle Mahmod.
