“one thing leads to another” uses action and games structures to create a focal point for the informal gathering of a crowd; and to outline, in a discursive way, a number of social concepts that are generally assumed to be good, and to test those assumptions.
“one thing leads to another” takes the form of a durational collective game that explores social development and progress, its rules, their effects and their accumulation. It develops the game as a social forum and attempts to make perceptible, intuitively, how human beings construct, influence and transform their reality, and how the consequences of our actions accumulate.
As a game, “one thing leads to another” is structured around the placement and moving forwards of 50 small plastic people.
