Do not miss the chance to catch this one night only concert at The Substation Theatre, headlined by the amazing duo Mel & Joe. Musical Buffaloes comprises of a group of students from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SIM Campus). As part of their music module, they are organising this non-profit event to raise awareness for FaithActs.

Mel & Joe, an established act in the local scene, recently celebrated 40 years of music making, and are specially bringing along several friends to perform with them at MusiCares. FaithActs Rockers will also be presenting a dance item to showcase their talent and passion.

FaithActs, a community service agency, aims “to reach out and impact the lives of people through the provision of programmes and services which meet community needs and alleviate social problems, regardless of their ethnic, socio-economic and religious backgrounds”. Their Creative Arts Programme allows youths to channel their energy through proper forms of communication, like music, dance and drama. By encouraging poor, needy, or disadvantaged youths to explore their talents and capabilities, FaithActs hopes to “(empower) them to take the first step towards making changes in their own lives”. Musical Buffaloes supports FaithActs’ inspiring message, and is excited to play a part in giving back to society through music.
