Cynical Sounds is proud to present Maryland death/grind masters Misery Index in Singapore for the first time at The Substation Theatre, as part of their Asia/Australia tour.

It will be the first time that the band performs in Singapore. Having played in so many countries outside the US and Europe, such as South America and Japan, the band is looking forward to Singapore, which they describe as an ‘exotic’ island. Band spokesman Jason Netherton says, “All of us are stoked to play in Singapore as we didn’t know that there are a lot of people who are into our music plus we heard a lot of good things from our friends who have visited Singapore. So we are looking forward to our visit there.”

The band consists of Jason Netherton (bass/vocals), Sparky Voyles (guitars), Mark Kloeppel (guitars/vocals), Adam Jarvis (drums).

Misery Index’s music is best described as death metal with strong hardcore punk and grindcore influences.
