minimART is an art market dedicated to local young contemporary artists and collectors. Inspired by the mushrooming numbers of art fairs in Singapore, minimART takes the form of an art bazaar showcasing original art works, ranging from paintings, mixed media, print making, sculptures, new media, photography, installation, performance and other forms of contemporary practice. Works showcased are for sale and priced under $1,000.
This is an event organised by artists for artists in Singapore! It aims to contribute to the development of local artistic practice, in particular, young contemporary artists, by encouraging constant production of art by young Singaporean artists. It also hope to plant the seed of collecting local art among art enthusiats through the promotion of affordable artwork. This will be a no-frills, not-for-profit event organised for artists in Singapore!
