Reception: Thursday 12 May, 6:30pm

Love Bomb is a tongue-in-cheek large-scale installation work that aims to invite reflection on the increasingly graphic depiction of violence in the news media and entertainment, versus the continued taboo of nudity. The work intends to examine, through humour and wit, the apparent hypocrisy and contradiction in the media’s fixation with violence towards the body and the public consumption of this fetish by the consumer.
