Desire, yearning, greed, passion. The steamier side of Singapore will be explored in this dramatic reading performance at The Substation theatre on September 30. Celebrating the launch of Monsoon Books’ short story anthology Love And Lust In Singapore, artists such as Koh Chieng Mun, Felix Cheong, Sharul Channa and Marc Checkley, will read stories that delve into the rawest of human emotions. The ticketed event – for adults only – will be accompanied by food and drink, a Q&A session with the authors, and all profits will go to the book’s charity, the WISH arm of the Society for Reading and Literacy. This event is proudly supported by the New Zealand High Commission and Australian High Commission, Singapore.
