Li Cassidy-Peet’s latest presentation extends her drawing practice from works on paper to the lines of control and influence etched in our thoughts and consciousness; in her words, ‘the psyche and the borderlines’. Taking the position of a perpetual outsider working with the grungy detritus of big-box retail and culture, Cassidy-Peet sets up a diorama of anxieties that have been processed, colorized and imbibed. The prolific outcomes are diversely juxtaposed; her exciting new works including drawings, manipulated photographs, video, sculpture, and neon.
