Us and Them and You
is a showcase of photo prints by local multi-disciplinary artist and Associate Artist of The Substation, Khairuddin Hori. The exhibition will highlight the existence of a minority group within the Singaporean-Malay minority through photo documentation.

Often seen as heathens and undesirable misfits primarily due to their physical disposition and lifestyle choices, members of this minority group will be captured on large scale prints, their photo portraits acting as testaments to the widespread Asian embrace of globalisation and western ideologies.

July 2010 – November 2010

The Substation Facade

Beginning in July 2010, Us and Them and You is a monthly showcase of photo prints by local multi-disciplinary artist and Associate Artist of The Substation, Khairuddin Hori. The exhibition will highlight the existence of a minority group within the Singaporean-Malay minority through photo documentation.

Each month from July till November, a new photo print banner will be displayed on The Substation building façade. This monthly showcase of photo prints will eventually culminate in a show in The Substation Gallery from 29 November to 19 December 2010.
