Call for participants: Be part of An Art Project at The Substation

“One thing leads to another” is the last project of this year’s SeptFest. It is a site-specific artwork drawing on participants’ experiences. It is about social space, social structures, and the rules that we make to enable ourselves to live in our societies. Led by Spanish artist Rosa Casado, up to 12 participants will be in a workshop situation culminating in a public presentation of the site-specific work. Participants should be available from 7 to 10 pm (evenings) on 30 Sept, 1 Oct, 2 Oct, and from 2 – 5 pm (afternoons) on 3 and 4 October.

No art background is necessary for participation, though artists are welcome too! We’re looking for anyone who is interested in reflecting on how society works and how we act/behave in society, and is open to sharing his/her thoughts and ideas with people of different backgrounds and ages in creating an artistic action. 

The workshop and presentation will take place in a central location (to be confirmed).
