The Cabinet is a research and education resource in the classroom on the second floor of our building. We aim to enable visitors to:
Delve into an encyclopaedic collection of collaterals, research and documentation that map the legacy of The Substation.
Explore our programming files from 1990 to the present and map connections between The Substation's past and present.
Tap on this rich platform of information to aid in personal research of the arts and cultural landscape in Singapore.
Access to the Cabinet is currently by appointment only. Click here to book an appointment with us.
Our hours are:
Monday - Friday
11a.m to 6p.m
The Cabinet hosts a variety of public programmes and also serves as a space for educational workshops for school groups or interested members of the public. In collaboration with our Residents, we hope to provide experiential learning environments that emphasise critical and independent thinking. If you are an Artist/Academic who is interested in activating our archives for a public programme, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
