Nelson is currently the Associate Artistic Director of Toy Factory Theatre Ensemble and most recently appeared on stage in their production Big Fool Lee. Formerly the Head of Theatre Department, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Nelson is a bilingual Actor / Director / Lecturer and has been working in the local performance scene for more than a decade. He has taken many major roles on stage and in TV productions and his performances have been seen in countries such as Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia and China.

Graduated from NUS with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Studies and an MA in Theatre Arts (Directing) from Goldsmiths College, University of London, Nelson has lectured in NAFA Theatre Department and NUS Theatre Studies Programme. He was a Resident Artist and Core Member of the Artistic Team of The Theatre Practice. He is proud to be an Associate Artist of The Substation.
