1) LoopLoop
Patrick Bergeron / 2008 / 5min / Canada / PG
Synopsis:
LoopLoop is made from a sequence captured in a train going to Hanoi in Vietnam. I filmed the houses boarding the railroad. The 1000 images of this sequence have been stitched into one long panoramic image. Into this long image, I integrated other moving elements and built smooth transitions over it. LoopLoop is a video loop.
Director’s Bio:
Video artist and researcher, I manipulate the image and its details. I'm interested about the concepts of speed, memories and the image components. My work is a mix of animation, experimental film and documentary.
For the last 15 years, I’m working in special effect for the film industry. I’m a “digital compositor”. I worked on some of the most challenging shots on films like “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Matrix”.
“LoopLoop” is my first film
