A tragic story of a pair of young newlyweds and their humble life in a rural fishing village. Frustrated with their unchanging poverty, Ah Shui is forced to leave his hometown to work as a labourer in a foreign land, leaving hapless Ah Shan behind. As life continues in the doldrums, Ah Shui longs for the touch of a woman and Ah Shan yearns for the love of her man. A tragic end awaits as the pair deem the separation unbearable for the earthly world.

Yenn Teo is the Creative Head of Content Management and Creative Development department at Infinite Frameworks. Her previous experience as a producer/ screenwriter includes the Mandarin blockbuster series on Channel U, The Frontline. She has made several short films, as well as directed television commercials and corporate videos for discovery channel and Nokia to name a few. Yenn is a Barrister-at-Law and Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, specialising in Real Estate and Corporate Law.

Ru Yi Wong holds a B.F.A. (Hons) in digital filmmaking at Nanyang Technological University. She is currently working on experimental video art, fine art, video and experimental art.

Erwin is an aspiring director who has worked on several corporate projects during his internship at Wormwood Films, most notably in the production of the local segment (Dinner) of an anthology Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. He is currently at Wormwood Films. Zombies Saved My Cold Dead Heart has been selected at the 6th Singapore Short Film Festival and Urban Media Makers Film Festival; and a Silver winner at the Jamfest Indie Film Festival.
